๐Ÿ“‹ General Instructions

  • Specify whether your submission is for Paper Presentation or Poster Presentation.
  • Deadline: 31st October 2026 โ€” no late submissions accepted.
  • Submit well before the closing date to avoid technical issues.
  • Incomplete studies without results will not be considered.
  • Case Reports โ†’ Poster Presentation only.
  • Research Papers โ†’ Paper or Poster Presentation.
  • All submissions undergo peer review.
  • Only shortlisted papers/posters are invited for presentation and eligible for Best Paper / Best Poster Awards.
  • Selected authors will be informed separately for full manuscript submission.

  • Previously presented/published data is not accepted.
  • The presenting author must be registered for MAHA-APICON 2026.
  • Best Paper evaluation criteria:
    • Scientific merit
    • Originality
    • Adequacy of sample size
    • Appropriate statistical analysis

  • All abstracts must be in clear and simple English.
  • Submission is entirely online at:

  • The first listed author = presenting & corresponding author.
  • Provide full name, designation, institution, and affiliation of all authors.

๐Ÿ“ Abstract Format

  • Word Limit: Max 250 words (~2,500 characters including spaces).
  • Font: Applied automatically by the submission system.
  • Spelling & Grammar: Authors are responsible for accuracy โ€” text is published exactly as entered.
  • Sentences should not begin with numerals.
  • Standard abbreviations may be used where appropriate.

Structure
  1. Title โ€“ Clear, concise, scientifically relevant.
  2. Introduction โ€“ Background, Aim/Objectives.
  3. Methods โ€“ Ethics approval, consent, study duration, inclusion/exclusion criteria, sample size (power), randomization, statistical analysis, tests, p-values, software, outcome measures, scoring/grading definitions, confounders, limitations, rescue techniques/drugs.
  4. Results โ€“ Demographics, primary/secondary outcomes, adverse events, key statistical findings.
  5. Conclusion โ€“ Brief and supported by findings.
  6. References โ€“ Only two relevant references.

โš ๏ธ Mandatory Requirements

  • Every abstract must include an authorization letter from the Head of Department (HOD).
  • All Fellows and Practitioners submitting abstracts must be registered delegates of MAHA-APICON 2026.
  • Only registered delegates may present accepted abstracts.
